Girls Can't Catch

In light of the recent departure from Polydor Records, Girls Can’t Catch members Daizy Agnew, Phoebe Brown and Jess Stickley would today like to formally announce the deformation of the group. Speaking this morning Daizy commented “Sadly, it's time for us to call it a day. GCC has been a brilliant experience – one of the most exciting journeys of my life - and one that we’ll look back on with extremely fond memories. But we’re all agreed its now time to move on.”

The girls would like to thank everyone at Fascination/Polydor for their efforts behind the scenes, and in particular their wonderful fans who have been so supportive right from the very beginning. “We have received such amazing support since day one and at so many of our performances,” said Jess “We’re so thankful for the dedication and generosity from all of the supporters, it's an experience we will never forget and we've loved meeting so many of the GCC family." Phoebe agreed “You honestly don’t expect such warmth and dedication from fans, so when it comes along it actually takes you by surprise.” Daizy went on to say “From each of us, to every single GCC fan, we want to say a huge thankyou.” Giving a hint to what lies ahead for the girls in future, Phoebe said “It's time to pursue some new and very exciting career opportunities, so we’re looking ahead with real optimism. Don’t worry, you’ll be hearing from each of us very soon!”

Daizy says, "Phoebe and myself had an awesome weekend running the London 10k. We managed it in pretty good time. Thanks to Jess for filming our webisode and taking care of the fans. Also, to all the fans who came down and showed their support - you guys ROCK!! And most importantly thanks to everyone who donated money to help us raise funds for the Fostering Network charity. Girls Can't Catch complete charity run

Jess returned from her summer holiday last week and sent this photo in just to make us jealous! 

Jess says, "I had an amazing holiday! It was great to go away with my family, get some sun and relax with a good book. Then to top it off I had a great day yesterday meeting so many GCC supporters at the the London 10k charity run! Stay tuned for our webisode and pics!!"

After 3 months of dedicated training, Sunday marks judgment day for Girls Can’t Catch’s Daizy and Phoebe. Yes, the girls will take part in the London 10K to raise money for the Fostering Network.

Thanks to so many of you who have been sending in pictures of your AMAZING supportive banners! The girls couldn't pick just one winner so they would love to invite you all down on the day! So, if you can make it, then why not head over to London’s Hyde Park corner (Piccadilly line) at 9.30am. Jess will be waiting for you outside The Dorchester Hotel between 9.30-9.45am ion Sunday morning before taking you over to watch the other girls from the sidelines!
